After months of testing, tweaking, and tasting, we’re proud to introduce our Chicago-Style Tavern Thin Crust Pizza—a crispy, cheesy tribute to one of America’s most beloved pizza styles.

Born in the neighborhood taverns of Chicago, this style is known for its thin, crackly crust, square-cut slices, and bold toppings. Unlike the deep-dish cousin it's often confused with, tavern-style pizza is light, crispy, and perfect for sharing with a cold drink—which, let’s be honest, is basically our love language here at Scallywags.

Behind the scenes, our kitchen has been hard at work, with Chef LĂȘ TĂąm leading the charge to perfect the homemade thin crust dough. "We wanted it light but sturdy, crispy but not dry—and something that would complement bold toppings without being overwhelmed by them," says TĂąm.

After a few flour-covered late nights and more than a few taste tests (we suffered for you, honestly), the result is a crust that’s light, golden, and just the right kind of chewy-crisp. It’s the perfect base for punchy tomato sauces, gooey cheeses, and vibrant toppings.
