Live sport is rolling all week at Scallywags Bar & Grill in Da Nang, and this one has a bit of everything.

We’ve got World Cup group-stage football in the mornings, AFL and NRL through the weekend, UFC on Sunday morning, a Springboks tune-up on Saturday night, and the big one right in the middle of the week β€” State of Origin Game 2: NSW Blues vs Queensland Maroons.

Cold beers, big screens, proper pub food, and enough live sport to make your calendar look irresponsible. Lovely stuff.

State of Origin Game 2: Blues vs Maroons

This is the headline match of the week.

The Blues took Game 1 by just two points, winning 22–20, so Queensland come into Game 2 needing a response. The series shifts to Melbourne, the pressure is properly on, and this is exactly the sort of midweek match that turns a regular Wednesday into a proper night at the pub.

Expect a few cold beers, a few nervous laughs, and at least one person explaining the entire match strategy after three sips of lager.

World Cup 2026 Group Games

The World Cup group stage keeps rolling, and we’ll be showing the matches that fall within regular Scallywags hours.

Morning football in Da Nang is a beautiful thing: coffee if you’re behaving, breakfast if you’re sensible, and a cold pint if the day has already chosen its direction.

Springboks Rugby Saturday Night

The Boks are back for their first run-out of the year. It’s a tune-up rather than a full Test match, but it lands beautifully in the Saturday evening slot and gives the rugby crowd a nice warm-up before the bigger July fixtures arrive.
